Noise from the nearby restaurant can disrupt an early night!!! Lack of information about the rooftop bar could lead to missed opportunities for guests!!! A more protective structure around the pool would ensure easier relaxation!!!

the ac unit was blowing right over our head, which was just delightful. the pool water was ice cold, totally refreshing, if you enjoy freezing, and don’t even get me started on the absent fitness room. for all this charm, a small room upgrade would’ve definitley been appreciated, but alas, I just couldn’t come to a good review.

The hotel is beautifully designed and offers a serene atmosphere with Tibetan artwork throughout. The spacious layout makes moving around easy, although clearer signage would enhance accessibility for seniors. While the frozen pool water may be refreshing for some, it was certainly a bit brisk for me.

Breakfast at Hotel Shambala was nothing short of a feast! They had this amazing omelet station that felt like a tailored culinary experience just for you. Plus, the rooftop bar was a vibe—great drinks and views that make every sunset feel epic. Can't forget the staff—super supportive, even helped with gluten-free dining options that made me feel right at home. Truly a gem in Kathmandu!
Now, about that shower—it had good water pressure and hot water, but I’ve got to mention the half wall that turned into a little splash zone. Still, the overall experience totally outshined any minor mishaps!

The service at this hotel truly stands out. The staff go above and beyond! ! Special thanks to the front desk staff who eagerly arranged transportation whenever I needed it. The rooftop area offers a magnificent mountain view that takes your breath away, especially during sunset.
The overall comfort of the room could use some attention.
